Among the elements of luxurious decoration are the elegant chapters of the cathedral executed in the technique of jewelry enamel, inlaid marble floors, the tented jasper canopy over the emperor's death site, magnificent mosaic panels with a total area of ​​7 thousand square meters. Golden letters of 20 granite boards installed on the facades of the church, immortalized the main events of the reign of Alexander II.
