Russian Railways OJSC declares a 30% decrease in the cost of tickets to international routes This was announced by the Director General of the subsidiary company OAO "FPK" Mikhail Akulov

The decision to reduce prices was made despite the difficult economic situation. In addition, passengers purchasing tickets for international destinations for 60 to 45 days before departure will be offered an additional discount of 10%.

It is assumed that the discounts will allow returning tourists' interest to travel on long-distance routes by rail. At the same time, RZD pays for the cost of using foreign infrastructure in CHF, which is why information appeared earlier that the carrier will raise ticket prices. However, RZhD decided to offer a discount to passengers, the increase in expenses is planned to be compensated by increasing the number of passengers.
