The famous travel portal "TripEdwiser" published the results of research on the popularity of Russian airports. According to the survey, Russians prefer Sheremetyevo airport. The popularity rating of Russian airports was compiled on the basis of the leaving feedback of travelers. This year Sheremetyevo bypassed last year's leader, Domodedovo airport, gaining 48% of the vote. The third place was taken by Vnukovo airport, showing the growth of popularity in the last few years. 61% of respondents among the main irritants during the booking allocated high additional fees and the cost of the air tickets themselves. Two-thirds of respondents like to occupy a place by the window, whereas in the neighborhood 69% of respondents would like to see a friendly passenger. The Russian tradition to applaud the pilot during landing is supported by 39% of passengers.
