Add a review about the garden "Aquarium"

The aquarium got its present name in 1898 with tenant Charle Omone, an enterprising French entrepreneur. Before, the garden was called "Chicago" and occupied a larger territory. In the garden there was a theater, several summer stages, a pavilion, a large fountain with a waterfall was located in the center.

In the garden in different years worked shooting gallery, bowling alley, photography, gymnastics area, in one of the gazebos there was an aquarium; in 1910-1912 in the building of the winter theater the ice rink acted.

Having got hungry, you can have dinner at the American cafe "Light of the stars", which has already become a landmark of the park. In the summer heat, the air is cooled and moistened by four fountains, which do not stop working for a minute.

Now the garden space looks much more modest: benches, a small fountain, a decorative arch and several sculptures. The building of the theater. The Moscow City Council was erected here in 1959, and today it is most convenient to walk along this garden with an evening performance or visit to an American diner.
