At once nine restaurants of the Czech capital were fined because of the deception of tourists March to June 2014 The Czech Trade Inspection conducted inspections in 13 restaurants in the center of Prague that are popular with foreign tourists . The inspectors pretended to speak English-speaking tourists.
In nine cases, inspectors noted violations against foreigners: restaurants included in the account customer service fees. At the same time in the accounts of local visitors of the same institutions of a similar point was not. The fee for services ranged from 5% to 15%. All 9 outrageous restaurants have been fined.
In another 5 cases, foreigners did not add alcohol to the required standard, and the waitress of one of the establishments did not bring change.
According to data for the last year, about every third restaurant or store in the Czech Republic is trying to deceive foreign customers. Most often, institutions bring in a wrong account or do not comply with the stated amount of beverages and the mass of food served.
