In the heart of Bucharest there is an amazing paradise - the garden of Cismigiu . Today it is almost impossible to believe that once on this place there was an endless viscous swamp . The ennobled swampy territory turned into a luxurious city garden with fountains, a lake, flowering flower beds and well-groomed paths . Both in winter and in summer the garden is full of vacationers . In a warm season, along the shady alleys, young mothers with strollers are walking, on the bench chess players, I'm on boats and catamarans, enjoying the romantic atmosphere . The history of the Chishmigiu garden goes back to the end of the 18th century when, on the orders of the Romanian ruler Alexander Ypsilanti, in Bucharest two fountain, one of which can still be seen in the park .
