To ensure that foreign tourists always stay in touch, the Taiwanese government decided to provide them with free wireless Internet access.

This innovation will save travelers from having to use an excessively expensive mobile connection to read mail, communicate in social networks or search for necessary information. To access the free Wi-Fi, the guest of the country needs only to present himself with a passport in one of the "Travel Service" centers located in all airports, railway stations and major railway stations in Taiwan. There he will receive a unique identification number that will allow you to connect to the Internet in any public place with Wi-Fi coverage.

Note that Taiwan is not the first place in East Asia, where tourists are provided with free Internet. For example, Japanese Kyoto has recently granted 3 hours of wireless connection to every foreign traveler.
