Samara is the birthplace of the famous "Zhigulevsky" beer for the whole of our country. It is here that the Zhigulevsky brewery is located - one of the most visited sights of the city. Almost all the guests of Samara necessarily come to the brewery to try a foamy drink and bring a couple of bottles as a gift to friends and relatives. Samarans recommend to buy in the store at the factory, because here the beer is the freshest. It is interesting that the local residents nicknamed the beer "Dny."

After the revolution of 1917 the brewery was nationalized . In 1934 Anastas came to the factory of the food industry of the USSR Mikoyan . Two years later Mikoyan ordered to create a good light beer, which was planned to be produced all over Tran .He advised the Central Laboratory of the brewing industry to pay attention to the "Zhigulevskoye" and take his recipe as a basis . Laboratory staff did so . After a while Zhigulevskoe became the most popular beer in the whole of the USSR .
