Economic court of Kiev region at the request of the largest Ukrainian airline AeroSvit, which is experiencing financial difficulties, started the process of bankruptcy case.

Despite this, the company is currently not bankrupt. AeroSvit will continue flying in normal mode, and no changes in the management structure are expected. The bankruptcy procedure is a planned part of the reform of the carrier in order to restore its operational efficiency and increase profitability.

At the moment, AeroSvit's debt to creditors is about $ 553 million. At the same time, according to the balance sheet of the debtor as of September 30, 2012, the total book value of AeroSvit assets is about $ 183 million
