During the past summer season, the Ukrainian seaports recorded a significant increase in cruise ship calls - the corresponding statement was made by the Vice-Prime Minister of the country Alexander Vilkul at a meeting with the chairman of the Ukrainian Administration of Seaports Yuri Vaskov
As the official specified, this year the Ukrainian sea harbors took 20% more passenger ships than during the summer season 2012 . Three largest The ports marked Odessa, Yalta and Sevastopol - in total they noted about 400 calls, of which more than 90% fell to sea liners . Such positive indicators were achieved not only by opening new cruise lines, but also by restoring the existing routes . In particular, this year the legendary cruise Six Black Sea Resorts of the Black Sea was revived, including calls to the main Russian and Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea coast .
We remind that in the beginning of July at the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea (PABSEC), the Ukrainian delegation issued a statement on the long-term development of the Crimea as a regional cruise tourism center.
