Then the Kharkiv Opera and Ballet Theater was called the Ukrainian State Opera and Opera House and occupied the historical building on Rymarskaya Street, 25 (now the Kharkov Philharmonic is located here) . At the time many famous artists performed at the theater , for example, at the end of the 19th century Feodor Shalyapin, Antonina Nezhdanova, Nadezhda Zabela-Vrubel and other performers sang here. .
