Abu Dhabi will host the World Tourism and Travel Council Summit in 2013
Summit of the World Tourism and Travel Council will be held in the UAE
The World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC) announced that the 13th summit will be held in Abu -Daby in April-May 2013. The main organizers of this event in the UAE will be the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and Etihad Airways.

The decision in favor of Abu Dhabi was made due to the transport accessibility of the Emirate, the high environmental standards laid down in the development strategy of the country's capital, as well as the efforts of the government and private business.

David Scousill, president and CEO of WTTC, said: "The Global Summit of the World Council is the most influential event in the field of tourism. More than 1,000 representatives of this industry come to the summit each year to discuss the most important issues and problems that the tourism industry faces today. Abu Dhabi has long been known for its Arab hospitality and world-class infrastructure, so the emirate will be an excellent platform for our summit. "

HE Mubarak Al Muhayri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, said:" This is a perfect example of how the two partners can achieve significant success together. " April 16-19, 2012 The 12th World Tourism and Travel Council Summit will be held in Tokyo
