In the Swiss city of Seleuven there is the only hotel in the world with zero number of stars Null Stern Hotel. It is underground in the premises of a former nuclear bunker. The most interesting thing is that for a day the hotel can again be transformed into a shelter, on this aspect the authorities insisted. The creators of the Null Stern Hotel are the two brothers of the artist-designer Frank and Patrick Rikilnam. They designed a unique interior design.
What is a hotel with zero stars? It does not have separate rooms, TVs and even maintenance (of course, bed linen will be given, but not more). Shower in the hotel is shared, and hot water in it is only in the morning. Ventilation is the air ducts, and instead of the windows in the bunker there are monitors on which you can see what is happening on the surface.
Despite the small number of amenities, Null Stern Hotel is popular - bunks have already booked a month in advance. And the prices do not bite here, especially for Switzerland - only from 15 Euro per night. At the same time, no more than 54 people can be accommodated in the hotel.
