Collections of the hunting museum are distributed between the main building of the castle and the ancient barn. In the castle you can see the following permanent exhibitions: "Info-space" (on the first floor), "Nature and people in the cultural landscape" (three halls on the first floor and one on the second floor), "Hunting trail in Switzerland" (upper floor). Also on the top floor was a collection of firearms from Swiss hunters of the 19th and 20th centuries.

On the first floor of the barn, there is a collection of hunting horns of Dr. Flax: these are simple horns-pipes in the form of a crescent, and large horns with several coils, and quite musical horns on which it was possible to play tunes . The second floor is occupied by the unique collection of historical hunting objects of Dr. Rene La Rochet, one of the most interesting in Europe . The castle is located 30 km from Bern. You can get here by the city electric train SBB S44, through Burgdorf to the station Utzenstorf, and then passing on foot from the station about 10 minutes.
