One of the ambiguous but extremely spectacular modern sights of the center of Kazan is the Farmers' Palace, built in 2010. From the northern wall of the Kazan Kremlin, a panoramic view of the Palace and the embankment of the Kazanka River is opened, popular among tourists. The name is due to the fact that the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan is located in the Palace of farmers.
Anyway, the Farmers' Palace is built and attracts everyone's attention with its huge dimensions, but most importantly - an eclectic luxurious exterior style of the Bozar, a mixture of French Baroque and Italian Renaissance. The borrowed architectural elements of Empire and Classicism, as well as the shape of the building with a central dome and two symmetrical wings, remotely copy the Parisian Small Palace (Petit Palais) and the Imperial Hofburg in Vienna.
In the dark the Farmers' Palace is beautifully illuminated - this gives the building a mysterious look . A bronze 20-meter tree in the central part of the facade is illuminated by green lights imitating foliage
The building was built by the company "Antica Plus", architect L. Gornyak. The same company designed an elite residential complex "Dvortsovaya Naberezhnaya", located on the bank of the Kazanka River, also with an eclectic facade decoration, as pretentious as it is not appropriate for the appearance of the nearby Kremlin Kremlin.
- Address of the Farmers' Palace: ul. Fedoseevskaya, 36.
