The house of the merchant Stakheev is one of the most beautiful buildings in Alushta. The mansion was built in the late 19th century and belonged to the goldsmith and nephew of the famous artist Ivan Shishkin in one person - Nikolai Staheev. By the way, the painter himself often came to stay here.

The merchant Staheev was a generous philanthropist. Thanks to his efforts and investments, a beautiful quay has appeared in Alushta.

The two-story mansion has been well preserved to our days, but excursions on it, alas, are not carried out. The fact is that the house of the merchant Stakheyev was given for a good cause. Here today is the Center for Children and Youth Creativity of Alushta.
