The true decoration of the Yusupov Palace is the exotic Moorish drawing-room, attracting attention the picturesque plafones of the Great Rotunda, the Red and Blue living room, the Corinthian colonnade of the Belokolonny Hall. The Turkish cabinet, Pompeian, Oak and Music Lounges are decorated with motifs of various historical styles. On the night of December 17 (30), 1916, Rasputin was killed in the palace. Since 1991, the exhibition "Grigory Rasputin: pages of life and death" has been opened here, wax figures of conspirators are shown.
The palace was badly damaged during the Second World War and was restored. Today visitors are offered a tour of the interiors of the palace, concerts of Russian and Western European classical music are held in the halls
