Add a review about the Yaroslavl Puppet Theater

Theater with a long history - Yaroslavl State Puppet Theater, recognized at many international festivals. In his repertoire there are more than twenty productions for children of different ages, and each season produces at least four performances. Yaroslavl Theater of the young spectator enjoys no less popularity among young Yaroslavl people, whose ticket offices are difficult to see without the long queue waiting for them.

Dolls never quarrel among themselves. Sometimes actors make them be evil, stupid or rude. But the dolls do not complain, they know that it is necessary, because the spectators who come to the theater and look at the performance will become smarter and kinder. And this is exactly what puppets live for at the theater.

Yaroslavl Puppet Theater was born from the home undertaking of the theater teacher Maria Nikolaevna Slobodskaya. A highly educated woman of noble birth and education "fell ill" with a puppet theater and carried away this idea to her friends A. Mirow and E. Inozemtsev. March 8, 1928 the first public performance of the theatrical collective took place. This day is considered to be the birthday of the theater.

Having a seventy-year history behind it, the theater is young. Young its directors, artists, artists. Today in the troupe, along with Honored Artist of the Russian Federation E. Snegireva and artists G. Gusakova, N. Demidov, L. Kovalyova, who dedicated the theater for more than a dozen years of life, became masters of N. Novikova, T. Starochkin, M. Smirnov, V. Smirnov . The high creative potential of young performers, yesterday graduates of the Theater Institute, gives confidence that the history of the Yaroslavl Puppet Theater will continue.
