Yandex Search engine introduced last week a beta version of a new mobile application that allows tracking traffic of public transport in real time.

"Yandex. Transport », running on Android and iOS platforms, determines the location of the bus, trolley, tram and even minibus. You can see on the map not only a specific route, but the entire road picture of the city - the user will see the position of absolutely all vehicles carrying passengers.

At the moment Yandex.Transport works in a test mode and is available to residents of Perm, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Kazan (only buses), Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow region. In case of successful tests, Yandex will launch a full version of the application, adding new cities and regions to it.

Of course, that the mass client "Yandex. Transport "will receive only after the addition of maps to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
