Sevastopol authorities announced plans to launch a new trolleybus route from Belbek airport in Yalta.
По the government plans to extend the line to over 90 km, which will make it the longest trolleybus route in the world. At present, the record belongs to the Crimea: the line starting in Yalta and ending in Simferopol is about 80 km away.
The new line, if launched, may become one of the few in Russia that will link different regions. The route from the Belbek airport to Yalta is planned as an alternative to the Yalta-Simferopol line
