Mosgortrans' General Director Evgeni Mikhailov announced plans to equip the entire rolling stock of the city's public transport with wireless Internet access by the end of 2015
More than 100 public transport units in Moscow are already equipped with free Wi-Fi. A year later, the Internet should appear in all buses, trams and trolleybuses of the capital.
Currently, Mosgortrans is negotiating with communication companies that will bear the financial costs of providing transport with necessary equipment.
In addition to free Wi-Fi in the city salons of public transport will be LCD displays for broadcasting news and weather.
