Stunning black Halaktyrsky beach stretches for several kilometers not so far from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky . You can get to the beach by taxi from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in 45 minutes. It will cost about 700 RUB (September 2014). The more traditional option is to go by bus No. 8 to Dolinovka or by bus No. 24 to Zaozerny and from there stomp on foot the same 45 minutes.
