Add a review about Lazovsky State Nature Reserve
The reserve is located in the south-eastern part of Primorsky Krai (Lazovsky District) on the southern spur of the Sikhote-Alin Range - the Zapovedniy Ridge (the highest elevation within the reserve is 1379 m above sea level), gradually dropping to the south up to the coast of the Sea of Japan.
1212 species of plants grow on the territory, including 44 rare and endangered species. There are 57 species of terrestrial mammals, 7 of which are listed in the Red Book. The main ones are the Amur tiger, goral, spotted deer. Registered 319 species of birds.
