Ural Geological Museum, located in the city of Yekaterinburg - the beauty and pride of the whole Urals and a unique pearl among the rest of the geological museums of the country. It is now the honorable foreign guests of Yekaterinburg are taken to the Temple on the Blood and to the Europe-Asia border, and only 25-30 years ago the main sights of Yekaterinburg were considered the Uralmash plant and the Geological Museum.

To some regret, not all Ural treasures are kept in the museum, a considerable part of unique exhibits was transferred to the museums in the 18th and 19th centuries.
