The Osaka Marathon is becoming a traditional significant event for the residents and visitors of the city. The first marathon in Osaka was held on October 30, 2011. Over 30,000 athletes from Japan and other countries ran through the city that day. This year it was decided to hold the second large Osaka marathon "Osaka Marathon 2012". The date of the meeting is set for November 25.

The route of the Osaka marathon is laid through the most famous sights of Osaka. As in the past year, the race begins in front of the Osaka Castle Park and will end at the INTEX Osaka International Exhibition Center. The length of the route will be 42,195 meters.
