The exposition, housed in 33 rooms on two floors of the New Procuratorium, is mainly devoted to the history of Venice. Here you can see the symbols of the Venetian Republic, portraits, seals, personal things of the doges, materials about lush city ceremonies, naval maps, navigational instruments, weapons and banners.
The picture gallery occupies 19 rooms of 3 floors. From the early painting of Venice, you should pay attention to Paolo Veneziano and Lorenzo Veneziano. Among the works of the artists of the Flemish school, there is the "Icon of the Magi" by Peter Bruegel. The best picture of the museum Correr, exhibited in Hall 11 - "Pieta" by Antonello da Messina.
