Despite the unstable situation in the region, the tourist sector of the Israeli economy managed to set a new record for the size of the inbound flow of travelers.

Over the past October, the Israeli state was visited by 339 thousand foreign tourists, which is 14% more than the same month a year earlier. Moreover, the new indicator exceeded by 4% the previous record set in October 2010.

From the announced amount, 297 thousand travelers arrived in the country by plane, which is 17% higher than last year's figure. Representatives of the local tourism industry also recorded an increase in the surface tourist traffic from neighboring Jordan (+10%)
