The first museum dedicated to the history of the Jewish community of Germany . The museum exposition covers almost two millennia of the history of Ashkenazi Jews . Large sections are devoted to prominent figures of German culture and the role of Jewish industrialists and merchants in the industrialization of Germany . But the main exhibit is the building of the museum, built according to the project of Daniel Libeskind: the Tower of the Holocaust, the Garden of exile and emigration (women and adolescents should be aware that the exposures produce a very strong impression, in which case the caretakers-guides are ready to provide first aid) .
