Gäuboden Folk Festival Folk Festival Gäuboden Folk Festival began celebrating early as 1812 on one of the largest fairs in Bavaria. Since then it has grown enormously, and although it is less noisy than the Oktoberfest in Munich, the festival attracts about 1, 2 million people from year to year who come to see the parade, learn about local culture and, of course, drink a good beer.

The diverse program of the festival has something to offer to both young people and the elderly. About 120 tents offer all the traditional "festivals" for festivals, and there will be seven large tents there, where you can sit down, drink beer, taste local dishes and listen to traditional folk music.

Various cultural and sports events also take place during the festival . The traditional procession through the streets of the city marks the beginning of the holiday. The festival will be held from August 10 to August 20.
