The castle, erected in a strategic location on the left bank of the Rhone, is also called the "Rene Castle", since it was completed by René I. Dobry in 1449.
The massive main tower of the castle rises to 48 meters. Unfortunately, only the beautifully decorated coffered ceilings are preserved from the interior of the queen's and queen's chambers, but from the terrace of the castle you can see a breathtaking view of the city and the surrounding area.
