The Montblanc hotel opened Bivacco Gervasutti, which is located at an altitude of 2 thousand 835 meters near the glacier of Freibuz. Outwardly it looks like a space capsule, and it seems that the hotel is balancing on the edge of the abyss and is about to fall. It was built especially for climbers who can hide in it from the weather.
The hotel was named after the mountaineer Giusto Gervazutti, a native of Turin. Built it on the site of a former wooden shelter erected in 1948. The length of the capsule is 30 square meters, on which there is a dining room and two sleeping rooms for 12 seats. Electricity is provided by solar panels. Anyone who comes here on foot from the Val Ferre Valley can stay in the hotel
The cost of living in such hotel is 30 EUR per night
