The French actor Louis de Funes museum opens in his former castle in Selje in the west of France.
Originally, the exposition "Museum of Louis" was created, located in two rooms. Soon it became very popular not only among the inhabitants of Selye, but also among other Frenchmen. Less than half a year of work, the exhibition was visited by about five thousand people, after which the creators of the Louis Museum believed that it was time to expand the exhibition.
The founders of the association were able to collect the necessary amount and rent a greenhouse in Clermont Castle, which once belonged to the legendary actor. In the new place, the collection of the museum has expanded considerably thanks to exhibits from private collections.
The "Louis Museum" presents, for example, the conductor's baton from the movie "The Great Walk" and the black hat from "The Adventures of Rabbi Jacob". In addition, the exposition has a large number of photos from filming and posters devoted to Louis de Funes
