Snowfall covered Europe

Over the past weekend a heavy snowfall covered Europe - most of the situation was complicated in France, where it was announced the threat of avalanches. Under the close supervision of the weather forecasters from the French meteorological office are now the regions of the South Pyrenees and Languedoc-Roussillon. Residents of these regions are asked to limit the use of personal vehicles, and mountain skiers and amateurs of off-piste skiing are advised to exercise special care while in the mountains.

Meanwhile, in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany, huge congestion was formed on the roads, and in Switzerland on Sunday night the thermometer dropped to a mark of minus 41 degrees
