Cote d'Azur of France continues to replenish the holiday program of the winter season. In parallel with the annual carnival in Nice, there will be a lesser-known (but no less colorful) Mimosa Festival "In the Land of the Riviera."

The event will be held from 14 to 23 February in the town of Mandelieu-La Napoule, that five kilometers from Cannes . The holiday, symbolizing the long-awaited arrival of winter, will traditionally begin with an official ceremony in the church of Notre Dame des Mimosas, during which guests will be offered warming mulled wine and a concert of folklore ensemble Grinis Show . During the next decade of residents and the guests of Mandelieu-La Napoule are waiting for the election queen mimosas, performances of local artists and, of course, numerous carnival processions . The 10-day program will end with the final flower parade, after which the "winter sun will free the treasures of the French Riviera" .
