The project "Europe is ready for a meeting" and the European Commission inform Russian tourists that a single the number of emergency services in the EU is "112". Now in any EU country, as well as Switzerland, Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey, you can contact local emergency services on this single number, and in most EU countries there are Russian speaking operators.
"112" is a pan-European emergency number services, available for communication 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Using this number, it is possible to call the relevant local emergency services (police, fire brigade or medical assistance) free of charge, either from a fixed or mobile phone.
