On the eve of the New Year, Russian Railways will perform four additional flights to Helsinki from Moscow.

At this measure, the Russian monopolist in the sphere of rail transportation went in connection with the multiply increased demand for the Finnish direction for the winter holidays. Additional trains with the number 70/69 will leave Leningrad Station on the 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th of December at 17:20 and arrive at Helsinki Central Station at 10am the next day. It is reported that the rolling stock will include 15 wagons of various types. The remaining flights to the Finnish capital will be carried out according to the staff schedule.

Tickets for additional trains on the route Moscow-Helsinki can be purchased now on the website of RZD, or at all the usual points of sale. The cost of the ticket to the compartment car is 5 600 rubles one way
