Sinai peninsula

Last Sunday an earthquake occurred on the Sinai peninsula in Egypt. Its duration was just over seven seconds. Inhabitants of the island and tourists were able to experience tremors in magnitude 4, 8. As a result of the earthquake, there are no permits and injured, Interfax reports with reference to the Egyptian portal Ahram Online.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in the north of the popular resort of Sharm El Sheikh . The last earthquake in this area occurred in June 2012, 20 kilometers south-west of Sharm El Sheikh
