Pleasant impressions of a quiet hotel on January 28, 2014
You can say that we were lucky, as our tour provided for a flight not to Sharm El Sheikh but to Tabu. Most of our compatriots arrive in the Scar, and then still shiver with fear in the Egyptian bus, which takes them 3 to 4 hours to Taba.
The airport in Taba is very small, if someone needs a duty free fare, do not rely on tabovskiy. Here we saw a small selection of alcohol and nothing more.

I went to the Sol Y Mar Sea Star with my family. I do not remember the rest of any of us at this hotel.
The hotel is considered very large, but it's quite the opposite. Yes, a very large reception and, accordingly, the main entrance, but the territory of the hotel, where you could walk, is very small. And this very territory is the territory of the basins. Vegetation is not enough. Plus, on the territory of the hotel there are a lot of different construction projects, which very much spoiled the impression of the hotel. There is a small zoo with different birds and monkeys. Just returned from this hotel, the overall impression generally depends on what mood you eat, we are in Egypt for the sixth time and there is something to compare, there are pluses and minuses ..., I will start with location. The hotel is very far from the main centers like the old town, Naama and its own beach, about 20 minutes drive, the airport is nearby, 2-5 minutes away, even you can see it when you leave the hotel on the beach.

We visited Egypt for the second time, so there was something to compare. We went to SOL Y MAR SEA STAR not to sit in the room, but to go on sightseeing tours to Israel and Jordan, the benefit of the border in Taba is very close. (Advertising link) I agree with other reviews about towels and small rooms, but we only spent the night in bed and there was simply no discomfort.
