17th FCCA International Cruise Conference to be held in Santo Domingo
From 25 to 29 October in Santo-Domingo, the 17th International Cruise Conference FCCA (Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association), in which annually take part more than a hundred heads of cruise lines and more than a thousand representatives of cruise bi and tour operators. For many of them, this is the main event of the year in the cruise tourism industry, a unique opportunity to meet with partners at a round table, to analyze the business development trends and discuss future prospects.

Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic Francisco Javier Garcia and FCCA President Michel Paige reported that This year the Dominican Republic is chosen as the host country for the conference in recognition of the sustainable growth demonstrated by the country in the cruise industry since 2006. So, for the last 4 years the number of cruise tourists to the ports of Santo Domingo, La Romana and Samana has more than doubled, and only over the first four months of this year more than 350 000 tourists arrived to the ports of the Dominican Republic
