He said that in two years the project, involving the hotels of Bavaro and Punta Cana, will attract more than 50,000 tourists, which will be a good incentive for cocoa producers in Los Batados.
He also noted that the "chocolate tour" will become a sustainable and long-term project that will make a significant contribution to the economy of El-Ceibo. Ragnieri expressed his confidence that "the time has come for the development of ecotourism," and cocoa plantations should become the third attraction in the east after beaches and golf resorts.
