Coal mining is a very difficult and exhausting business, requiring considerable effort and endurance . Visiting the museum, you you can beditsya this and understand how difficult and dangerous work of miners .An excursion to Anselm begins with a visit to the so-called chain locker room - rooms with ceiling mounted chains, on which the working clothes of miners are suspended . The group enters the elevator, the small cubicle of which slowly takes you to the underground labyrinths of the mine directly and works were carried out . Tourists will be shown various machines and devices with the help of which coal was extracted, geological layers of rock and security systems, in all details you will be told about the life and work of people in mines, about how and what they ate, what difficulties and obstacles they were waiting for during exhausting work . Complement the picture of the miners' mannequins depicting the work process in its natural form .

Museum Landeck the park is a world-famous complex, the most important monument of the history of natural sciences and mining, as well as one of the most interesting sights of the Czech Republic.

In the building above the mine there is an exhibition of mine-rescue equipment, among the exhibits which are life-saving suits, protective helmets, measuring instruments, tools and other adaptations of the present and past. At an open exhibition you can see large mining machines: combines, rotors, cranes and transport systems. Among other exhibits of the museum can be identified the reconstruction of the village of hunters for mammoths.

During your stay in the Landeck Museum, be sure to visit the colorful miner's bar "Harenda", where you can taste the signature Czech beer and enjoy the unusual entourage of the place.

The Landeck Park Museum is open for visits all year round. In the warm season in the park area are various events, sports and children's playgrounds are established, restaurants and cafes are opened. Also it is possible to rent a bike and ride along the nature trails of the reserve

Practical information

Working hours of the museum: from March 20 to October 31, the summer season of excursion programs is open, from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00.

Cost of full excursion for adults: 150 CZK, for preferential categories: 90 CZK.
