The forthcoming winter fare in public transport of the British capital will increase. At the same time, the exact figure is not voiced: experts predict a rise in price by 2, 5%.

The Greens Party has already called such a measure "a sad beginning of 2015," since the standard rule is the increase in the cost of travel by a maximum of 1%.

In turn, the mayor of London, Boris Johnson, does not agree with such a formulation and considers the price increase of 2, 5% is fully justified. Thus, it is planned to cover the expenses for the reconstruction of roads and the development of transport infrastructure.
