To help the passengers navigate the space and escort them to the right place, the managers of the Geneva airport launched a special robot a helper working in the baggage claim hall
RobbI Robot-Assistant is a tactile screen mounted on a special platform on wheels. He moves around the airport, helping passengers find the right room or exit. The passenger sets the desired direction on the screen (toilet, ATM, currency exchange, taxi or bus parking ...), after which the robot is activated and accompanies the "client" to the selected destination. During the journey, the robot demonstrates in real time the remaining distance to the end point.
According to the managers, developers spent six months to create RobbI. In case of successful completion of the test period, the helper robots will work at the Geneva airport on a permanent basis.
