At once two Spanish cities were among the three most popular destinations in Europe shop tourism.

According to the annual Globe Shopper Index rating, which shows the main characteristics of the European cities in terms of shopping, Barcelona and Madrid have the best trading infrastructure for making various purchases. Above them, only ubiquitous London climbed, whose stores are deservedly considered to be among the best in the world, both in terms of variety and quality of service.

The entire top ten of the Globe Shopper Index is as follows:
