Korean Air announces the appointment of Li Hyun Kun (photo) as the new vice-president and regional director for Russia and CIS countries. Mr. Li began his career with Korean Air in 1986. He worked in Seoul and Busan in Korea, as well as in Chicago and Los Angeles in the US

In his new position, Mr. Lee will lead the passenger and freight transport, administration and head five regional offices in Moscow, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, St. Petersburg and Tashkent.

Today, three flights a week from Seoul to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tashkent, and five times a week to Vladivostok, are scheduled in this airline's flight schedule. Starting from April next year, flights to Vladivostok will be daily, and flights to Irkutsk will begin in June
