In the picturesque edge of the Upper Volga on the shore of the magnificent Lake Seliger, 70 kilometers from the town of Ostashkov, the Sosnitsa guest houses opened their doors in the summer of 2007.

Sosnitsa Guest Houses are located in the heart of the ancient Russian village, all arriving here in an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity, and remoteness from the metropolis further promotes relaxation and rest from the city bustle.

All cottages are made in a rustic style, some of which were created on the basis of existing village houses . However, this is only an external decoration, as inside they are fully equipped with everything necessary for comfortable and cozy rest.

When guest houses have a good base for renting sports equipment for active pastime, pilgrim excursions to the shrines of Seliger region are arranged.

Near the tavern there is a playground for toddlers, as well as a small menagerie in the newly built wooden "Ark" - "Each creature in pairs". On the second floor of a tavern in a small museum a permanent exposition is opened: "The life of the pine farmers in the 18th and 19th centuries."

Since 2009 Sosnitsa guest houses have entered the tourist complex of the Orthodox brotherhood in the name of the Nile and Herman Stolobensky, among other tourist sites of the Brotherhood, thanks to the church in the name of Herman Stolobensky in the territory of Sosnitsa village. Regular services are held in the church, sacraments of Baptism, Weddings, Confessions, Communions are being performed, there are received cries.

Another church near the new church is the Transfiguration of Our Lord, built in the mid-18th century. The temple is in ruined condition, but now the "Brotherhood" is preparing for the restoration.
