Russian Railways reports that tickets for long-distance trains on 8 and 9 May will traditionally be the cheapest in the year.
The reserved and common railcars of the trains of the subsidiary company RZD of OAO FPK will be sold at prices 49% lower average annual tariff. Passage in the compartment and SV 8 and 9 May will be cheaper by exactly 50%. "RZD" notes that the offer extends to domestic routes.
Tickets for long-distance trains on May 8 and 9 can be purchased at the ticket offices and terminals of Russian Railways at stations and on the company's official website.
