Rosaviatsia, the Ministry of Transport and Rosturizm managed to come to a general agreement on the extension of charter programs to countries, where the velvet season is now.

If earlier charter flights were curtailed by the end of September, this year flights to warm countries from Moscow and St. Petersburg will last until the end of October. Bulgaria, Cyprus, Spain, Greece and Thailand are among the main countries in which airplanes rented by tour operators continue to fly.

Despite such a successful beginning of the autumn season, Russian travel agencies are not in a hurry to rejoice: the winter period does not promise big prospects. Prior to this year, the main winter destination has always been Egypt, but due to the well-known events, many players of the domestic tourism industry will have to seriously work out a plan for redistribution of the tourist flow.
