Add a review about the monument "Moscow-Petushki"
Two figures stand in front of each other in a small square, which is pathetically called "Battle Square". The place was chosen not by chance: it was here that the hero of the immortal poem Venechka drank a glass of coriander on the way to Kursky railway station.
Initially, the sculpture Venichka was at the Kursk Railway Station, and his red-haired girlfriend with a scythe to the priests was in Petushki. But then it was decided to connect them and now they are in the square in the Wrestling Square
The inscriptions on the pedestals read: "You can not trust the opinion of a person who has not yet had time to hang out" and "In Jellyfish, jasmine does not fade and bird singing does not melt."
And the opening ceremony of the monument began with the fact that the writer-satirist Igor Irtenev distributed nuts and ice cream to the children, as once the hero of the poem Venichka Erofeev did.
