Paleontological Museum. A. Orlova, opened in 1937, is part of the Paleontological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and one of the largest natural history museums in the world.
The museum exposition is devoted to the evolution of the organic world of the Earth and is represented by 6 halls with over 5 thousand exhibits from the most ancient to practically modern. The opening hall of the museum gives a general idea of ​​paleontology, the second - acquaints with the very first inhabitants of the Earth, the third one - is devoted to the geology of the Moscow region. The fourth hall contains the oldest vertebrates, the fifth hall - the Mesozoic Hall, introduces unique collections of dinosaurs and birds, and the last, the sixth, is dedicated to the Cenozoic mammals.

Paleontological Museum is open to visitors every day except Tuesday from 10:00 to 18:00. The cost of entrance tickets is 250 rubles. for adults and 100 rubles. for pupils and students
